Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I enroll?
Immediately after your enrollment is complete, you'll receive a welcome email with your Client Services Agreement, secure portal access, and instructions for submitting your financial information. We'll then schedule your Practice Navigator™ Kickoff and begin implementing your personalized 90-Day Wealth Roadmap.
How long does the Practice Navigator™ implementation take?
Every practice is different, but most clients complete their initial implementation within about 90 days. More importantly, they'll leave with financial systems that continue creating value long after implementation is complete.
Is this bookkeeping or tax preparation?
No. Practice Navigator™ is an executive financial leadership engagement. While we coordinate with your CPA and accounting team when appropriate, our focus is improving profitability, cash flow, business value, and long-term wealth through strategic financial leadership and implementation.
What information will I need to provide?
We'll ask for key financial information such as recent profit and loss statements, balance sheets, production and collection reports, accounts receivable information, payroll summaries, and other operational reports. Your secure client portal will guide you through each step.
What results should I expect?
Every practice is unique, but our objective is to help you uncover hidden profit opportunities, improve cash flow, strengthen financial systems, and build a more valuable business. Our success is measured by meaningful financial improvement—not simply delivering recommendations.
Why is Practice Navigator™ a one-time enrollment instead of a monthly subscription?
Practice Navigator™ is designed as an intensive implementation engagement—not an ongoing coaching program. During the first 90 days, we work with you to build the financial systems, reporting, and strategic framework your practice needs for long-term success. After implementation, clients may choose to continue with ongoing Fractional CFO services for continued leadership and strategic guidance.
Why do practices choose Charted Course instead of relying solely on their CPA?
Your CPA plays an essential role in tax compliance and financial reporting. Practice Navigator™ complements—not replaces—your CPA by providing ongoing financial leadership focused on profitability, cash flow, business value, and strategic decision-making. We help practice owners turn financial information into action and measurable results.
